Every Cabanons Fontaine prefabricated garage sold by Pro du Patio includes the following as standard:
A 9′ × 7′ R-16-insulated garage door included
This is the garage’s central feature: a 9-foot-by-7-foot garage door with R-16 insulation. Also included is a 36″ steel door with a lockable handle and three anti-theft double ball-bearing hinges, as well as a 34″ × 50″ double PVC sash window with thermal break and square glazing.
97½″-high vinyl walls, available in 23 colors
The walls are 97½″ high. The frame is constructed with 2×4 studs spaced 16″ apart, featuring double-crossed top rails and a treated wood bottom rail; the walls are anchored using 2¾″ Tap-Con fasteners with a double layer of polyethylene membrane. The exterior siding is vinyl over OSB panels, available in 23 colors.
A shingle roof, available in 21 colors
The roof is covered with asphalt shingles laid over OSB sheathing, with rafters secured by steel plates and a 5/12 pitch. The shingles are available in 21 colors. The eaves, ventilated by perforated vinyl soffit, extend 8″ at the front, back, and sides.
More than 55 sizes, up to 30′ × 30′
Garages are available in the same range of sizes as our sheds: more than 55 standard sizes, from 4′ × 6′ to 30′ × 30′, in addition to the option for custom, non-standard sizes.
What to Plan Before Ordering: The Concrete Slab
Important: Our prefabricated garages do not include a floor. The garage is installed on a concrete slab, and the customer is responsible for the slab—it must be prepared before installation. Also, be sure to check whether a municipal permit is required for a detached garage on your property. Do you have questions about these steps?
